Dr. Ashok Pansari urges students to set clear life goals for success
HOJAI, Dec 31: Over 550 meritorious students of Ajmal Super-40 were honoured at a grand felicitation ceremony held at Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology in Hojai on Wednesday, celebrating their outstanding performance in NEET and JEE 2025 examinations. The students have secured admission to some of India’s top medical and engineering institutions, marking a historic achievement for the region.
The event was graced by Amiruddin Ajmal, Chairman of the Ajmal Group of Companies, as chief guest; Dr Ashok Pansari, Vice-Chancellor of Royal Global University, as chief speaker; Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Trustee of Ajmal CSR and Ajmal Foundation; Sirajuddin Ajmal, Chief Trustee of Ajmal Foundation and Maulana Mustaq Anfar, Chairman of the Anfar Group of Companies, among other dignitaries.
Launched in 2016, the Ajmal Super-40 initiative aims to help talented yet financially disadvantaged students pursue careers in medicine and engineering. Over the years, it has gained national recognition for academic excellence and social upliftment. Most of the students come from economically backward families and the Foundation provides free coaching, study materials, meals and mentorship, ensuring financial constraints do not hinder their academic ambitions.
In NEET 2025, Himanta Parana Saikia topped the list with 606 marks, securing admission to AIIMS Raipur. Other top achievers include Pollo Paite (588), Minhaj Uddin Barbhuiya (587), Ali Haider Hussain (586), Nabid Nawaz Choudhury (576) and Mustak Ahmed (570), many gaining admission to premier medical colleges including AIIMS and GMCH. Ajmal Super-40’s JEE 2025 batch also saw students like Indrajit Timung, Shaunak Dutta Choudhury, Gautam Deuri and Chinam Jhaipabi Channuwa securing seats at IIT Guwahati, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Dhanbad and IIT Indore, respectively.
Chief Speaker Dr Ashok Pansari praised the philanthropic work of the Ajmal family and urged students to set their life goals with clarity, emphasising purposeful living. Drawing on shlokas from the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and real-life examples, he encouraged students to pursue meaningful and goal-oriented lives. Maulana Mustaq Anfar highlighted the importance of working for societal welfare irrespective of religion and appreciated the Foundation’s efforts.
Amiruddin Ajmal, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal and Sirajuddin Ajmal lauded the contributions of teachers and staff, including Dr Khasrul Islam Director of Ajmal Foundation, Dr MRH Azad, General Manager and Abdul Kadir Project Head of Ajmal Super-40. The Foundation felicitated both students and faculty in recognition of their hard work and dedication.
The ceremony also honoured outstanding students from Ajmal Law College, Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education, Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science and Technology and Ajmal IAS Academy, celebrating the Foundation’s broader impact on education and social transformation. The event highlighted Ajmal Super-40 as a beacon of hope, perseverance and excellence for aspiring students across India.
