Director:

Dr. Khasrul Islam is the director of Ajmal Foundation. He holds a Master’s degree In Economics from Assam Central University, Silchar. Mr Islam has more than 20 years of experience in social services programmes, spanning humanitarian and long-term social development programmes in diverse socio-cultural environments. He is responsible for supervising major operational activities of Ajmal Foundation. Being one of the key members of Ajmal Foundation since its beginning, his work spanned areas of research, strategic planning, program designing, project management and handling human resource requirements. Before Ajmal Foundation, Mr Islam worked with various international industries on issues of governance, relationship management and enterprise development. He has worked with a range of international and national partners, and brings a vast experience in building and nurturing partnerships with government, private sector, and other NGOs. With his energetic and enthusiastic personality, he has played a very important role in the overall growth of Ajmal Foundation since the beginning.
