5 Years of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan | A successful programme was organized at Nazir Ajmal College of Education, Hojai on 18th Nov, 2025 to commemorate the completion of 5 years of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA).

As part of the programme, a live telecast of the national-level event, which was being conducted in Punjab, was webcasted to the students in presence of Shri Rubu Borah, Asst. Commissioner, Hojai district; Shri Nleswar Roy, DSWO, Hojai; Drug Inspector, Hojai; SI of Education; All CDPOs; District and Block Coordinator under Hojai district; Principal & Guest faculty of Nazir Ajmal Memorial College, Hojai among others.
To enhance awareness and promote creativity, a Slogan Writing Competition was also organized in which the students enthusiastically took part.
Also, pledge for a Nasha Mukt Bharat was administered, reaffirming everyone’s dedication to fight against substance abuse and addiction.
A significant highlight of the event was the positive response from the students, with 14 students voluntarily coming forward to register themselves as NMBA volunteers. Their involvement will further strengthen awareness activities within and outside the campus.
