Department of Sociology – Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education
A team of 9 students from the 6th Semester, Department of Sociology, NAMCE, will undertake an academic field visit to Karbi Anglong as part of their curriculum requirements.

Theme:
“Understanding Tribal Society, Culture, and Livelihood Practices in Karbi Anglong”

Objective:
This field work aims to provide students with practical exposure to the socio-cultural life, economic activities, and traditional practices of the local communities in Karbi Anglong. It will help students bridge theoretical knowledge with real-life social dynamics through observation, interaction, and data collection.
