An Awareness Program on Fire Safety Drill was organized by the IQAC, Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education (NAMCE), Hojai, in collaboration with the Hojai Fire Station on 08 June 2026 at the college campus.
The program was conducted with the objective of creating awareness regarding fire prevention, emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and the proper use of firefighting equipment. The session included practical demonstrations by the officials of Hojai Fire Station, who explained the necessary steps to be taken during fire-related emergencies.
The program was attended by Dr. MRH Azad, General Manager, the Manager, and officers of Hojai Fire Station. Representatives from various Ajmal Group of Institutions, hostel wardens, hostel in-charges, cooking staff, and staff members of Markaz Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels also participated in the event.
The participants actively engaged in the demonstrations and gained valuable knowledge on fire safety measures and emergency response techniques. The programme was highly informative and contributed significantly to enhancing safety awareness among all attendees.
The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks to the resource persons and participants for their valuable presence and cooperation.
