Ajmal Group of Institutions Organizes Faculty Development Programme

Hojai, July 5: The Ajmal Group of Institutions (AGI), under the aegis of Ajmal Foundation, successfully organized a two-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) for Class X teachers on 4th and 5th July 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall of Nazir Ajmal Memorial College of Education, Hojai. The programme was conducted on the theme, “Current Trends of Question Papers in Science, Mathematics and Social Science.”

The programme aimed to familiarize teachers with the evolving patterns of board examinations and competency-based assessment practices. Teachers from various institutions actively participated in the event and engaged in subject-specific technical sessions, group discussions, and demonstration classes.

The technical sessions were conducted by experienced academicians and subject experts. In the Social Science session, Mr. Saharul Islam guided participants on contemporary assessment approaches and question-setting techniques. The Mathematics session was led by Mr. Souvik Nandi and Mr. Roushan Kumar, while the Science session was conducted by Mr. Nirupam Das, Mr. Saddam Hussain, and Miss Sabira Nisab, who deliberated on emerging examination trends and effective classroom strategies.

Special presentations were delivered on changing question paper patterns in Science, Mathematics, and Social Science. The resource persons highlighted the increasing emphasis on analytical thinking, application-based learning, and competency-oriented questions in board examinations, providing valuable insights to the participating teachers.

The programme concluded with a valedictory session featuring experience-sharing by participating teachers and addresses by distinguished educationists and administrators. Among those who spoke on the occasion were Mr. Areef Ahmed, Principal of Ajmal Modern Residential School, Jugijan; Mr. Jahidul Haque Choudhury, General Secretary of Markazul Ma’arif; Dr. Zoheb Hazarika, Chief Coordinator, AGI; Mr. Abdul Kadir, Project Head, Ajmal Super 40; Dr. MRH Azad, General Manager, Ajmal Foundation; and Dr. Khasrul Islam, Director, Ajmal Foundation. The speakers emphasized the importance of continuous professional development, innovative teaching methodologies, and academic excellence in preparing students for future challenges.
