Recognition of Service and Inspiration for Greater Responsibility
In times of natural disasters or any unforeseen crisis, we must always remain vigilant, aware, and prepared to stand in the service of humanity.
The devastating floods that recently affected Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat districts brought immense hardship and suffering to numerous families. During this difficult period, standing beside the flood-affected people was not merely a responsibility; it was our duty towards humanity.
With the objective of providing relief and reducing the hardships faced by the flood-affected communities of Upper Assam, continuous assistance has been extended to those in need. This ongoing relief effort has included essential food supplies, safe drinking water, medical services, medicines, and other necessary forms of support.
Leading this humanitarian relief initiative, our Trustee, Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, personally visited Sivasagar, Charaideo, and Jorhat to assess the situation and understand the difficulties faced by the flood-affected communities. He stood beside the affected people and extended all possible assistance and support during this challenging time.
In recognition of this continued service, humanitarian effort, and commitment towards the flood-affected communities, it is a matter of immense pride that Ajmal Foundation was honoured as a “Flood Warrior” (#FLOOD_WARRIOR) at a special programme organised by News18 Assam & North East.
This recognition is not merely for Ajmal Foundation. It is dedicated to every compassionate individual, volunteer, doctor, staff member, and well-wisher who stood beside the flood-affected people and contributed to this humanitarian mission.
The programme was attended by Dr. Khasrul Islam, Director, Ajmal Foundation; Dr. M. R. H. Azad (Dr. Rubul Azad), General Manager; Abdul Kadir, Project Head, Ajmal Super 40; the Principal of Ajmal Law College; along with other officials and representatives.
This honour serves not only as a recognition of our service but also as an inspiration to continue working with greater commitment, compassion, and responsibility for the welfare of society.
