Ajmal CSR Team Extends Relief to Flood Hit Upper Assam

A team of volunteers from Ajmal CSR has, for over a fortnight, been actively involved in extending all possible help to the Upper Assam flood victims. Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, Joint Managing Trustee of Ajmal Foundation and MLA, Binnakandi, rushed to Sibsagar immediately after the devastation had started and monitored the distribution of food, cloths and other essential commodities. A large team of doctors and nurses from HAMM Hospital is deployed in Sibsagar, Jorhat and Choraideo districts. Medical camps have been set up and free treatment and medicines are being provided. The CSR Team is also engaged in rescue and rehabilitation works. Maulana Badruddin Ajmal is travelling across the state raising funds from the public and has pledged to rebuild the damaged houses and distribute uniforms and study materials among school going children. Ajmal is indeed the first public figure to voice concern for the flood affected people and take the lead in this humanitarian endeavour.
