Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science & Technology Shines on the National Stage. College Honoured with the Prestigious “Best College Delegate” Award
Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science & Technology has brought immense pride and recognition to the institution by achieving remarkable success at the national level. At the National Pragati Dialogue 2026 – India’s National Youth Drafting Parliament on BRICS, held at Dibrugarh University from 21st to 23rd August 2026, students of the college competed alongside representatives from various parts of the country and secured several prestigious honours.
A total of 115 colleges from across the country participated in this prestigious national event. Maryam Ajmal Women’s College of Science & Technology was conferred with the coveted “Best College Delegate” Award, marking a significant achievement and a moment of immense pride for the institution. Adding further glory to the college’s achievements, Parsa Begum was awarded the title of “Best Campus Ambassador” at the event.
Furthermore, in the Speech Competition for the 13–18 years age group, Sultana Begum secured the position of 1st Runner-up, while Diya Joshi was adjudged 2nd Runner-up. Their outstanding performances are a shining testament to the talent, eloquence, confidence, and intellectual abilities of the young participants. Upon their return from Dibrugarh, approximately 40 students who arrived at Hojai Railway Station were warmly felicitated by Dr. Khasrul Islam, Director, Ajmal Foundation. He congratulated the students on their outstanding achievements and extended his best wishes for their bright and successful future.
Expressing their appreciation for the students’ remarkable accomplishments, Hon’ble Trustee Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, MLA, Binnakandi and Former MP, Dhubri (three-time), and Sirajuddin Ajmal, Former MP and MLA, extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the students. They praised the students for bringing honour and recognition to the institution and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence on national and international platforms.
